PATTERN & COLOR: This project tasked students to create individual images that would be tiled to create a pattern. The project shows how small distinct images can be interpreted as texture and how scale can effect how a pattern is perceived by a viewer. The project also required the students to explore applications for their patterns.

In our Multimedia Arts Program, we equip our students with up-to-date fundamentals of effective communication design. We give them opportunities to test these theories and principles through collaboration with different programs. They are encouraged to master both traditional and digital art media to foster their development as content creators.
We have extremely hands-on and project-based courses which our students can learn the appreciation for the process of making. We encourage peer-critique—their works to be evaluated by the faculty, their fellow students, and invited creative professionals to foster a level of objectivity and an engaging learning environment.

This concentration focuses on developing a versatile creative professional familiar with both traditional and new media and preparing them for jobs in the marketing communications field such as advertising. Disciplines covered include graphic design, photography, video production, copywriting, applied communication and designing for web and other electronic media.
“Engkanto,” Gaby Salgado; “Gents,” Andrea Teodoro; “Likha,” Bea Trinidad; “Koi,” Vicky Tumacder
This concentration is designed to train and nurture visual storytellers and provide them with the skills to create content that can entertain, educate, influence and inspire. Senior projects include illustrated books, graphic novels, animated shorts, and graphics driven products. The program will emphasize an understanding audiences, markets and other aspects of a professional practice.

Lizza Gutierrez, Program Head. Lizza brings over two decades of successful, creative experience, both locally and internationally, in graphic and publishing design, with a Masters in Communication and Packaging Design from the illustrious Pratt Institute in New York City. Students are able to learn under the tutelage of one of the most diligent practitioners in the industry today as she is also the art director and graphic designer of ‘Lizza’s Room’.
Abe Medenilla, Digital Illustration/IT I Instructor. A graduate from UP Diliman College of Fine Arts, Sir Abe is a seasoned creative from the advertising and design industries, having worked in Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erickson, and Sushi Graphics. Now freelancing as a creative consultant, graphic designer, and illustrator under the nom de guerre, El Tiburón, he is one of MINT’s respected MMA instructors and currently teaches Digital Illustration and IT I classes.
Dulzzi Gutierrez, Materials/Multimedia Seminars. Her graduate thesis was the seed of an enterprise that is a now a regional brand and market leader in fashion jewelry! A practitioner and untiring academic, Dulzzi Gutierrez, a graduate of UP Diliman Fine Arts, polished her creative skills in institutes of learning in New York , Hongkong, Thailand, Prague and Singapore. She has been member of the MINT faculty since 2015 and currently teaches Materials Class and MMA Seminars. As Creative Director of Silverworks, Dulzzi, believes business and the academe must work together to develop the Creative Industry, inspire innovative learning and push for Corporate Responsibility in the Philippines.
Alyssa Bartoline, Animation Instructor. Ms. Alyssa teaches Basic 2D Animation via Adobe AfterEffects here at MINT College. She graduated with a degree in Multimedia Arts from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. As a professional, she works as a Senior Motion Designer for Modeo Media. She is also a muralist, painter, animator and illustrator at DeafEye Studio, which she founded with her partner. She also does art gallery exhibits. Her murals can be found in Bonifacio Glabal City, Taguig on the walls of various hotels and restaurants.
Chloe Dellosa, Drawing Instructor. Ms. Chloe Dellosa is a Fine Arts graduate from the University of the Philippines, Diliman and is currently taking her master’s degree in Educational Psychology also at the same university. She teaches Drawing I and II here at MINT. She also owns an online business, called “The Postcard Makers,” where she makes local postcard designs using plein air and watercolor. She mainly sells them via online platforms and also puts up a booth at the BGC Art Mart and in Central Square, BGC. She also does private commissions of paintings and portrait drawings. She also participates in art exhibitions with her artworks at the Kaida Art Gallery.

Kani Villaflor’s thesis project for MINT “Logro” was a short film entry to Cinemalaya 2018, and the Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival in the same year. It follows the story of Bruno, a person with dwarfism. Unsatisfied with his work, salary, and treatment, he joins an underground fight club to earn his way to the prize money and in the hopes of reaching his aspirations.
Villaflor shares that Logro came from his fascination with a bar in Makati that features little people who fight in the ring.

Amparo “Ampi” Pe, Program Head. After receiving her Masters in Communication from the esteemed Annenberg School at the University of Southern California, she became an associate editor under the Chris Connelly at Premiere Magazine. She has produced for the revered news outlet, Probe with Cheche Lazaro, and has managed productions for a variety of illustrious clients. She draws upon her impressive background to train students in the art of visual storytelling.
Cholo Laurel, Advance Directing/World Cinema/ Thesis Production Instructor. Cholo spent three and a half decades working for television networks, production companies, and advertising agencies, eventually becoming a respected Producer / and Director in the industry.
He also broke into Philippine cinema co-writing and directing Nasaan ka man, a Star Cinema film which swept the 2006 Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences - FAMAS awards for Best Story, Screenplay, Best Picture and Director, an award which the Gawad Tanglaw ng Lahi also gave him for the same film.
In 2008, Cholo co-founded ORIGIN8 MEDIA; a film company committed to creating meaningful films that are commercially viable. This rare coming together of most seasoned Filipino filmmakers was responsible for the production of independent successes such as Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros and Zombadings.
Today, He is a Film Mentor at the MINT , Meridian International College of Film arts, passionately dedicated to coaching future Filmmakers.
He also continues to create and produce more quality media content with various production companies. His latest, AFTERLIFE, is a series produced by CIGNAL entertainment and streamed through NETFLIX.
Eric Flanagan, Screenwriting. He is a writer and filmmaker who hails from Texas, USA, and also teaches Screenwriting in MINT.
He is a graduate of Fine Arts program of the Department of Radio, TV, and Film in the University of Texas. He also had his master’s degree in Film Directing at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University.
For the past decade he has been based in South East Asia, where he has witnessed firsthand the changes sweeping through the region. His short film "Teleglobal Dreamin'" won a jury award at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, and screened on PBS and Sundance Channel.
His graphic novel White Faced Lies, set against the backdrop of contemporary mainland China, was released in 2022. He lives in Manila, where he is developing stories for the local and international market.
Carla Baful, Language of Film/Basic Video Production/Character Formation Instructor. Ms. Carla is a freelance writer, director, and producer for both video and audio productions. She is also the co-host and co-creator of the podcast, “It’s An Adult Thing!”
She studied Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines, Diliman then later on took classes in Directing and Cinematography at the Mowelfund Film Institute.

In Reel Life is a showcase of MINT student filmmakers' original films and videos. This creative platform offers entertainment, and a unique point of view seen through the eyes of filmmakers just starting their young careers.

All the world’s a stage, and all our students skilled, creative professionals. They are content creators for the theatre, as well as the whole range of media platforms in today’s entertainment industry. Our Theatre Arts program boasts a colorful cast of characters as local thespians with global experience on the stage and the screen mentor our students for success through an interdisciplinary that merges arts, business, and technology.
Our program includes a multitude of opportunities for our students to create, produce, and perform at an industry level, showcasing to theatrical practitioners and casting directors. We ensure that our students develop the technical skills, creative vision, and the collaborative aptitude necessary to thrive in the industry.
Our Performing Arts team of educators are collectively experienced in the local and international theatrical industries. Through intense mentorship with a conservatory approach, MINT develops performing arts students that can seamlessly transition into the theater life.
Dennis Marisigan, Program Head. Dennis brings with him rich experiences as an actor, screenwriter, director, and producer for both theatre and cinema. He has been twice awarded the esteemed Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Ang Buhay ay Pelikula (Full Length Play, 1998) and Joy (Screenplay, 2008), as well as the 2018 Gawad Buhay for Outstanding Stage Direction for a Play for Ang Pag-uusig, a Filipino translation of Arthur Miller’s classic, The Crucible.
Nelsito Gomez, Acting, History and Shakespearean Instructor. Nelsito is a theater and film actor, director, host and educator. He is also the founder of CAST - The Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre, whose mission is to present a season of staged readings: four plays, once a week, for four consecutive weeks, annually.

In line with the Original Pilipino Performing Art (OPPA) Foundation’s mission to elevate the local performing arts scene, and with their trust in the quality of MINT College’s Theatre Arts Program, we are proud to announce that we are a partner institution officially covered by the OPPA Foundation Scholarship Program.

We nurture the modern, marketing professional through an interdisciplinary program that merges arts, business, and technology. Our students are creative professionals who can stand out in the over-saturized contemporary marketing setting, characterised by a noisy media landscape and the digitally connected consumer.
Where emerging, online technologies are a hindrance to some, they are our students’ tools of choice to communicate and execute innovative, modern day marketing campaigns. We develop collaborative, creative, professionals with a deep understanding of the fast-paced, technology driven, consumer landscape, enabling ideas to thrive and businesses to succeed.
Under the IMAC program, students also have the option to choose from the following concentrations:
This concentration focuses on the use of Events and other Media services to support the achievement of marketing goals. The specialized classes will cover both their proper strategic use as well as the production process associated with these services. Also covered among the topics are the professional practices associated having individuals as brands. Concentration-takers are expected to collaborate with students from Music Business Management and Film & Video programs.
The concentration primarily covers marketing and communication for Lifestyle and Fashion brands. Students will learn communication best practices in both traditional and new media including content and influencer marketing. Students will be given the knowledge, skills and tools to be successful in supporting brands in this category – additionally, given that most products and services are being presented with a lifestyle context, students will be gaining skills that can be applied almost any industry.
It focuses on the use of digital platforms and new media to achieve marketing goals. Students will explore the use of digital tools to enhance various aspects of marketing including Distribution, Retail, Customer Management and Brand Experience. They will work with students coming from other programs in order to develop, prototype and execute digital strategies and campaigns.

James “Mony” Romana, Program Head. He is a lecturer whose expertise is Marketing in the Music Industry, having worked in various posts in the recording industry since 1991. As a Marketing and A&R Executive, he has developed innovative campaigns for major international and local releases. Joining government in 2007, he advocated for the Creative Industries, actively participating in efforts in pushing for policy to recognize the sector as a key economic driver, attending numerous international discussions and fora as part of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) of the Department of Trade and Industry. As an entrepreneur, he is pushing for more adaptation by the Philippine Music Industry of platforms and innovations in the digital sphere. He is currently involved in developing startups in the music industry foremost of which is Distroconnect, a company that seeks to enable independent music artists and labels through business consultancy and mentoring. He completed his Masters in Business Administration from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration in the Graduate School of Colegio de San Juan De Letran.
Shaira Habon, Marketing Instructor. Ms. Shaira is an entrepreneur, marketing professional and content creator who is teaching various courses for IMAC at MINT College. Her classes include: Media and Information Literacy, Product Management, Advertising, PR and Digital Marketing, Professional Salesmanship, E-Commerce (Entrepreneurship), Influencer Marketing, and Retail Management. She is a graduate of Communications from Miriam College, with a Professional Degree in Marketing Management from De LaSalle, College of Saint Benilde. She also has a master’s degree in Communication from Ateneo De Manila University. As a business woman, she is the owner of Shy Shop. She also works as the Managing Partner of Sphere Events and Marketing, and as the Digital Marketing Head of ViveLive Australia and Unarosa Philippines. Clara Benin is an MBM alumni of MINT College. She was in her senior year when she released a full album entitled “Human Eyes.” With her distinctly heartfelt and soothing sound, Clara continues to thrive as an artist, gigging in different countries, and even getting a chance to represent the Philippines at various music festivals like Wanderland and Paradise International Music Festival, which was headlined by Kanye West.

Lachmi Baviera, Program Head. Lachmi continues the legacy of Music Business Management program founder, the late Eugene Villaluz. As the former GM of Warner Music Philippines, Lachmi is credited with leading them into the modern age, transforming it from a traditional music label into a digital entertainment company. She continues transforming the music industry in her current position as Country Head for Sony’s digital music distributor, The Orchard. Under her leadership, MINT’s MBM students get professional guidance and mentorship with access to the global music industry.
Jungee Marcelo, Songwriting Instructor. Jungee has been producing music for decades as a composer, lyricist, songwriter, jinglewriter, and music arranger. It would be an understatement to say that his influence in the music industry has touched most if not all Filipinos at home and abroad. As a stalwart of the annual PhilPop Bootcamp, Jungee always makes time to develop the next generation of Filipino musicians. You can find Jungee’s work on all major streaming services including Spotify, Apple, Youtube, Tidal and many more. In his free time, you may be able to find him street dancing to the latest hip hop jam.

Sam de Leon is a MINT Music Business graduate. He is an arranger, a sessions, and a producer. He has worked with a lot of MINT artists including Clara Benin, Elise Huang, EJ de Perio, the MINT Riffs, and has also produced content for Herbabuena Unplugged.

Jorik Katalbas, MINT’s resident crooner, delivered a warm and sweet-sounding “First Noel”. With only a keyboard piano to sing with, the song gave off that homey, familiar feeling whenever you’re around family and friends during gatherings.
Online friends-turned-bandmates R.I.T.—or Raiza Racelis, Izzy Mariano, and Timo Valiente—gave “Hark The Heralds” a chill vibe, fit for conversations over hot chocolates.
Diego Redoblado, MINT guitar master, gave “Jingle Bells” a millenial-Gen Z Christmas party reboot.

Our Entrepreneurship program expertly blends fundamental business discipline with technology, design, and applied arts to develop creative and practical solutions in today’s ever-changing business landscape. Our students are immersed in the exciting world of international start-ups, with the opportunities to learn from and engage with daring professionals.
It emphasizes a progressive entrepreneurial mindset, immersing our students in a highly collaborative, if not sometimes competitive, environment set to challenge their ideas and skills. Our graduates are poised to be the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators— ready to launch the next great start-up, or guide existing organizations to adapt in new and creative ways.
For Entrepreneurship students, here are the three concentrations to choose from:
A variant of the general Entrepreneurship program that beyond providing business foundation offers specialized subjects that will teach the skills and processes associated with designing and developing Fashion Products. There will also be classes focused on the marketing and communication for Lifestyle and Fashion brands. The culminating activity would be the creation of a viable fashion/lifestyle product or service.
This concentration for students who a specific interest in developing Media related products and services. Like the other concentrations it will have classes that cover core business and entrepreneurial knowledge but there will also be specialized classes focused on the various facets of the media industry including the tools and processes involved in media production. These students will have opportunities to interact with the schoolmates from the media centric programs (Music Business Management, Multimedia Arts, and Film and Video).
An Entrepreneurship Program variant that looks at the opportunities provided by digital technology and translating it into product or service innovation. It will have a range of specialized subjects that will look at the technology itself but will also how the technology can be applied to reach out to consumers; create efficiencies in service workflows and production chains and in ultimately create truly unique products and services. Students in this concentration will also have opportunities to interact with those in other programs particularly Computer Science and Information Technology.
Lordegil Fernandez, Program Head. Lordegil imparts decades worth of experience and expertise in successful start-ups and businesses to our students, including as Managing Director of Binalot Apex Inc, and has ventured into a range of business opportunities including Double Deck Ortigas Inc and 7 Series Inc.
Ace Gapuz, Entrep Instructor. Ms. Ace is an entrepreneur herself and is teaching related courses here at MINT College. Her classes include: Influencer Marketing, Marketing Research, Consumer Insight, Principles of Business Management, Business Communication, Online Events Management, Human Resource Management, Innovation Management, and Programs and Policies on Enterprise Development. She is a graduate of Management from Ateneo De Manila University, with Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of the Philippines, Diliman. She also holds a diploma in International Business from University of Technology, Sydney. She is the CEO of Blogapalooza, Inc., director of Shoppertainment Live Inc. and also the Founding Vice President of Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines.
Belle Blanco, Entrep Instructor. Ms. Belle has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, managing SMEs and corporations, project and event management, and branding. She started her career as events manager at Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and pioneered establishing the delivery and catering dept. of Gerry’s Grill Bar & Restaurant. Aside from being an entrepreneur with her own Four M Events Management company and a printshop, Ms. Belle helped the startup programs of the technology incubators at UP Diliman and Miriam College. She holds a BSBA major in Commerce from UST and is working on her Masters of Technology Management from UP Diliman.
Belle teaches entrepreneurship, business ethics, good governance, total quality management, and product management classes at MINT College.
Wix Alconaba, UX/UI Instructor. Wix has worked as a self-taught professional UX designer for a decade already. He started his career as a Systems Analyst at KCC Property Holdings, a graphic designer at Dole Philippines and product designer for MVP Mailhouse. He has also briefly volunteered at DTI Region 12 to be a product label consultant for MSMEs. He is currently the product designer at Hatch, a US-based marketing company. He teaches UX/UI design or Interactive Design here at MINT College. He is graduate in Information Technology from Mindanao State University.

Lesley Mobo, Industry Advisor. Lesley is a globally acclaimed London-based designer. He holds a Masters degree in Fashion from the prestigious Central Saint Martins. His designs have been worn by local and international style icons, and have graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines. He has collaborated with UNIQLO, Jasmine Di Milo, Diesel, and Absolut, while his own eponymous womenswear line was launched at Paris Fashion Week, exhibited at the Musee du Louvre, and featured in Italian Vogue.
Michele Sison, Instructor. Educated at FIDM in Los Angeles and Central Saint Martins in London, Michele introduced her debut collection at the ASEAN Design Show as one of the country’s most promising designers. Since then, she has shown at Philippine Fashion Week and has become known for her sensual and classic style with a twist. Her most recent fashion venture, Chéle, is a culmination of her unique sensibilities and international experience, an elegant ready-to-wear line for the modern Filipina.
Jerome Lorico, Instructor. Jerome is one of the country’s premier menswear designers. He is known for his strong design aesthetic, an urban and modern detailed minimalism. His acclaimed collections have won prestigious local and international awards, have been shown at London and Singapore Fashion Week, and have been featured on WWD and the Wall Street Journal.
Delby Bragais AICI CIM, Instructor. A cum laude graduate of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines, Delby holds an MBA, is one of the world’s 19 Certified Image Masters, and sits as the President of The North Road Image & Fashion Group. She has shown at New York Fashion Week and has represented the Philippines at the ASEAN India Summit. The Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship named her as one of the Inspiring Women of the Philippines. A published author, “The Purple Pig Wears Red Lipstick” gives a simple roadmap on personal branding for female entrepreneurs.

The Red Charity Gala Scholarship Program
Coinciding with the launch of the Fashion program for SY 2018/2019, and the Red Charity Gala’s 10th Anniversary, we have launched a selective scholarship program for fashion design.
The talent and needs based scholarship is open to applicants of the Fashion Program, and is awarded at the discretion of MINT and the Red Charity Gala to a maximum of one individual per academic batch.

With the exponential rate in which technology develops, along with its high penetration into the machinations of our daily lives, our program leverages on our interdisciplinary strengths in arts, business, and technology to solve real-world computing needs in a range of industries.
Our students adopt, and adapt to, the latest methodologies in app development. This prepares them for deeper computing challenges such as data management, data analysis, machine learning, and even hardware programming. As they graduate with advanced computing skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, they are ready to pave the way for high-tech innovation.

MINT High offers academic strands in the areas of business, arts, and technology. These strands merge seamlessly with our college programs, eventually making it easier for our students to adjust to a higher level of education.
With special emphasis on creative and media industries, our students develop their knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and integrated marketing communications. Students focus on the conceptualization, formulation, and commercialization of ideas into a profitable venture. This track encourages students to be content creators, leveraging the facilities that are available to them at MINT High.

This track infuses math and science concepts with highly creative practical applications. Our creative approach transforms the STEM track for a unique experience offered only at MINT. Classes will illustrate how structured, rule bound processes and themes can mix well with imagination and innovation. Much focus is on integration of concepts to web applications and interactive media.
This track is an introduction to our key creative programs in multimedia arts, film, and theater. Our professional faculty facilitates projects that are aligned with current industry practices, allowing our students to experience real-world application of their skills. They are also trained to be experts at problem-solving, and collaboration. They are taught that professionals should work together to ensure that their processes are organized to come up with well-communicated output.

This track is anchored in the social sciences with emphasis on their practical applications. It focuses on Communications and Psychology, very important aspects in Consumer Behaviour, New Media, Advertising and Marketing. Classes will be highly collaborative and creative with fun, relevant projects.
This track is an extension of core programs offered at MINT College. There is heavy emphasis on project-based learning, group study, and working in a highly collaborative work environment. To complement its modern mode of instruction, technology is at its core, with students having access to MINT’s state of the art laboratories.
