your mentors
Our faculty and invited educators are rich in professional experience. With mentors like them at the helm, our students graduate with the skills and mindset to make waves in the industry.
Lachmi Baviera, Program Head. Lachmi continues the legacy of Music Business Management program founder, the late Eugene Villaluz. As the former GM of Warner Music Philippines, Lachmi is credited with leading them into the modern age, transforming it from a traditional music label into a digital entertainment company. She continues to develop the music industry in her current position as Country Head for Sony’s digital music distributor, The Orchard. Under her leadership, MINT’s MBM students get professional guidance and mentorship with access to the global music industry.
Elise Huang, Songwriting Instructor. Graduated as a Music Business Management student from MINT in 2020, Elise is a singer-songwriter who writes pop music from the heart. She was discovered by her creative manager, Seed Bunye, in 2017 and has consistently released music since then. Her first single, “Coffee” (2018) now has over two million streams on Spotify, with other hit songs like “Won’t Stop” (2018), “Current State” (2019), and “Lonely” (2021) under her belt. She currently teaches songwriting here at MINT College, harnessing the potential of young aspiring musicians from the same school where she learned to find her own sound. She is also now under the music label company, Underdog Music Philippines, with other hit local artists like Ysanygo, and has recently released her new single, “To My Friend’s Ex” this 2024.
Jigger Divina. He is a Quezon City-based DJ who goes by the name of “Jiggywho”. After starting his music label named Locked Down Entertainment back in 2002, he is now considered to be one of the key figures of the local hip hop industry after many artists signed with him and hip hop enthusiasts flocked together for a night of “Locked Down”.
Raised on rap and pop culture in Manila, Jigger is best known for playing songs not often heard in a club setting. He is eager to infuse different genres to create a unique sound, with his hip hop beats sprinkled with some post-punk, indie dance, and new wave elements. Currently, this DJ-slash-CEO manages more than 20 exceptional artists under his label, a roster carefully formed with music, purpose, and personality in mind.
Francis De Veyra. A well-respected individual in the music industry, Francis is a musician, composer, and musical director whose accolades include Best Original Theme Song and Best Musical Score Nominee for “Seklusyon” at MMFF 2016; Best Musical Score Nominee for “Patay Na Si Hesus” at FAP Awards 2017; Best Music for “Tisay” at the 2016 Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival; Best Music for “The Arrival” at the 2010 Gawad Urian Awards; and Best Music for “Tribe” at the 2008 Gawad Urian Awards.
Francis was a guitarist for the Radioactive Sago Project, where he was bandmates with his brother, actor-musician Lourd De Veyra. Currently, he is the lead guitarist and musical director for Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas, and the musical director for Funkybeat Entertainment, a company that offers services such as musical scoring and direction, events and artists management, song composition, and workshops.
Geri Regondola. She may be young, but she has already started to cement her place in the music and management industry. Currently, she holds the position of International Marketing Executive at the Universal Music Group Philippines, where she started as an Artist Manager during the pandemic. She is also the current manager of Elise Huang.
A graduate of Communications & Media Studies at Miriam College, Geri also worked as Account Manager for Sindikato Inc.; as additional crew for VXON’s “Breaking Bad” and Zack Tabudlo ft. Al James’ “Gusto” music video, as well as for “New Hope Club: School Year 2007” (2023) and “LSS” (2019) which stars Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia.
She is one of our newest additions to the MINT Faculty, teaching MBM students everything about Artist Management.

Jorik Katalbas, MINT’s resident crooner, delivered a warm and sweet-sounding “First Noel”. With only a keyboard piano to sing with, the song gave off that homey, familiar feeling whenever you’re around family and friends during gatherings.
Online friends-turned-bandmates R.I.T.—or Raiza Racelis, Izzy Mariano, and Timo Valiente—gave “Hark The Heralds” a chill vibe, fit for conversations over hot chocolates.
Diego Redoblado, MINT guitar master, gave “Jingle Bells” a millenial-Gen Z Christmas party reboot.
