“Don’t open, dead inside”

They were warned but they didn’t listen.

A mysterious green glow enveloped what was once well-lit hallways. Colorful murals turned grim with violent scrabbles and scary sketches. Teachers and students were nowhere to be found as bloodied corpses, and ghouls began roaming around. What was once a cheery and chaotic atmosphere turned grim and eerie last October 25. As the school closes for the day, a haunted asylum opened instead—from the hip and creative MINT College to the dark and scary Saint Meridian Hospital.

It was a day full of tricks and treats as activities were happening to keep the ghouls abode happy. the festivities began with an improv show courtesy of the MINTeatro, the school’s official theater troupe. There was also a Mess hall where different vendors sell their goods and food and services are available. The highlight of the festivity is the brainchild of Multimedia Arts professor Abe Medenilla, the “Deadtime Stories”. it is a haunted walk-through inspired by famous children’s bedtime stories.
