MINT Riffs
Just like the rainbow’s definitive colors, the MINT Riffs—the school’s official glee club—had a vivid ‘technicolor’ of a showcase last May 20 at Music Museum, Greenhills, San Juan. It was their sixth annual concert which they named “Bahaghari”.
For Meg Mangoba, MINT Music Business Management student and MINT Riffs member, ‘Bahaghari’ or rainbow signifies “the celebration of triumphs experienced despite facing hardships in daily life.” She also shared that this is their way of giving back, as the choir wasn’t able to stage a concert last year.
That night was unconventional, refreshing, and impactful.
Instead of spreading the word about having a new campus through official statements both in print and online, the school instead decided to host an indoor live concert last February 22.
