MINT Riffs—the school’s official glee club—will be having its sixth annual concert on May 20 at the Music Museum. They chose “Bahaghari” or ‘rainbow’ as this year’s theme and will feature a repertoire of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and some international classics.
For Meg Mangoba, MINT Music Business Management student and MINT Riffs member, ‘Bahaghari’ or rainbow signifies “the celebration of triumphs experienced despite facing hardships in daily life.” She also shared that this is their way of giving back, as the choir wasn’t able to stage a concert last year.
The show is divided into three segments: Kulimlim (or gloom), Ulan (or rain), and Bahaghari (or rainbow). Mangoba also said that “each segment is a colorful mix of OPM and International hits and classics, which we hope will capture the hearts of our audience.” W
