One of the most-awaited annual event at MINT College is its welcome party, especially for all of its new students. The Acquaintance Party serves as the school’s culminating event to build a stronger MINT community and to forge new friendships among its college and senior high school. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school had to adapt to the new “no social gathering” norm to prevent virus transmission.
This year, spearheaded by the MINT Prod—the school’s student-led official events production team—and MINT Creatives, a group of budding MINT designer students, held MINT Fictionary 2020 online last September 25, 2020.
The theme was about fictional characters from books, films, and video games. Artists such as Fern., Tamara, Julia Pascual, jr. aori, Andrei Alonzo and the pop-rock OPM band, Butterfly Den, performed for the virtual crowd. W
