MINT College is now at Ortigas East, Pasig City!

With the continuous growth of the school this year, a new campus has been opened last August 8, 2019. The new school year welcomed a new vicinity in a new estate to be filled with more talented youngsters working their way through their chosen fields in business, arts, and technology. It’s located at the fourth floor of the Silver City 1A building along Frontera Dr., in front of Tiendesitas.

The rising estate along the C-5 corridor welcomes the school’s fresh energy by collaborating through an art project—a mural that highlights environmental conservation, preservation, and protection.

The project, titled “Everything Counts” is the designed, conceptualized and painted by MINT Multimedia Arts students from college and senior high school. They are guided by Program Head Lizza Gutierrez and instructor Abe Medenilla. Their urban artwork is inspired by the four basic elements—earth, water, air, and fire. These are symbolized by separate trees.

This is also “design with a purpose” because each tree will be represented by dedicated environmental advocate groups. There will also be QR codes underneath each tree to check out which nonprofit organizations did MINT College partnered with for this project. The mural aims not only to serve a visual reminder to love Earth but also engage viewers to take part in volunteering for various nature-focused groups.

Mural painter AG Saño had already visited the site and had joined the painting of the mural. He is also a marine conservationist.

The project is expected to be finished this month. W
