The weave team called for Dani Angeles one morning for a video shoot. She’s usually working behind the scenes, but now, she found herself seated on a stool, facing the camera. It’s typical of her to come in prepared, proudIy showing the three sheets of paper where she scribbled her answers to the questions we gave her beforehand.
She told us that she covered all the questions, except for that part. It’s surprising for us though, because she is one of the visibly busy people at MINT. She is always found either huddled with the school’s production team, or going in and out of offices coordinating important school events. Now on her final year as a Film student and a full-time scholar, juggling acads and events has never seemed to faze Dani.
Always full of vigor, she has been the go-to production manager for school events—from acquaintance parties, gigs, and until recently, a kick-off concert to launch MINT’s new campus in Ortigas East. As a working student, she is also an active production staff for MaxiOne Inc., which lets her experience outside-school productions that further hones her management and organizational skills to perfection.
Born to a family of filmmakers and production people, Dani naturally found her niche at the MINT Film program, while being the head of the MINT Prod Team. In this new weave profile, we get to know her aspirations as a future filmmaker, and her experiences inside and beyond the classroom. W
