Early this year, MINT College launched the MINT Pet Project, an organization dedicated in helping stray cats and dogs. This is an initiative led by MINT professors Cecille Kiamzon, Juno Parungao, and MINT Creative Director Teks Pabuayon.
As adoptive pet owners themselves, they aim to engage MINT students to volunteer and take part in donation drives for pet rescue centers and pet sanctuaries. The organization also launched a social media campaign that shares information about responsible pet ownership to prevent the rising cases of negligence of cats and dogs.
Last October, the MINT Pet Project successfully raised more than P25,000 to help the MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary.
The MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that rescues injured stray cats and dogs off the streets and gives them shelter. Their headquarters are located at Teresa, Morong, Rizal.
This Saturday, December 1, MINT Pet Project would be partnering again with MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary through the MINT Christmas Market. MINT entrepreneurs will be selling various items, in which the proceeds will be donated to MBY. Patrons can also donate when they buy dog and cat Christmas ornaments at the booth.
Join MINT College in extending the holiday cheer to our furry friends at MBY by visiting our Christmas bazaar located at the second floor of the Venice Grand Canal Mall at McKinley Hill, Taguig.
Every gift you buy, will greatly help the cats and dogs of MBY! W
