Garcia once told this to her class, “writing sucks. It’s a struggle to find the right words, but at the end of it, what’s left is usually, hopefully, something beautiful.”
Aeriel Matthew Cruz is a Computer Science student here at MINT. Formerly enthusiastic about the digital arts, he recalls a moment in his computer class in high school that made an impact on him, and made him take up an entirely different program in college.
A Chinese proverb once taught, “teach a man to fish and you’ll feed him for a lifetime”. Ignite Manila, a nonprofit organization, and MINT College, with its Social Entrepreneurship program, joined forces to initiate “farm tourism” in the town of San Jose, Batangas.

“My biggest takeaway from the convention is that Asia is getting really serious about having fun. Foreign game companies are looking for talent here. Local developers are sprouting, too. Big business and big careers are waiting to be pursued. It’s an exciting time for our students who want to cross the line between game player and game creator.”
