This is what Ricci Chan, professional makeup artist and prolific local movie and theater actor, told to the students of MINT Theater Arts in the afternoon of May 7 during a lecture on Theater Makeup.
From one question to another, both speakers have made several points about the theater in a real setting. As a parting message, Trinidad left the future thespians with a witticism that they’ll surely remember, “It’s not about you. The show will go on, with or without you. Get over yourself.
With the showcase of the seven plays by MINTeatro, the school’s thespians have proven themselves to be a talented troupe that knows how to wield their ‘theater magic’ the best way possible.

MINTeatro’s MINT Senior High Theater Arts students recently concluded their Friday productions, “Stage Our Souls.” The series started from February 1 until March 1 at the Playhouse. Unlike their previous stages, this time they went minimal with their set-up—having only chairs and spotlights to work with onstage.
