With the showcase of the seven plays by MINTeatro, the school’s thespians have proven themselves to be a talented troupe that knows how to wield their ‘theater magic’ the best way possible.
MINTeatro’s MINT Senior High Theater Arts students recently concluded their Friday productions, “Stage Our Souls.” The series started from February 1 until March 1 at the Playhouse. Unlike their previous stages, this time they went minimal with their set-up—having only chairs and spotlights to work with onstage.
“When I signed up to be a director for this year’s Shorts & Briefs, I wasn’t expecting to feel this attached, not just to the play I handled, but also to the people I worked with. Two whole months—filled with weekly rehearsals and a two week-worth of shows—filled me with melancholy when the last curtain call was casted.
