Learning went beyond the four walls of the classroom.

MINT College went to a field trip at Ayala Museum last Sept. 22. Around 20 MINT Students from Social Sciences and Rizal classes joined the guided tour inside the museum, viewing dioramas depicting historical moments in Philippine history, and slices of life of our national heroes. They also tried the virtual reality (VR) goggles and headphones that showed Jose Rizal’s execution. Chosen Film students also visited a set production for their Cinematography class.

The Ayala Museum also had an exhibition titled, “Hidden Cinema: The 100 Films for A Hundred Years,” at the second floor of the museum. The exhibition was from July 3rd to Sept. 9th. Besides the exhibition curated by filmmaker, historian, and film literacy advocate, Prof. Nick Deocampo, there was also a film screening at Greenbelt 3 MyCinema. It featured 2 cycles of chosen young filmmakers with their contribution for the theme, alternative cinema. MINT Film alumnus, Noah Del Rosario, was included in the roster with his film, “Bugtaw”. The films were shown from July 7th, 14th and until Sept. 7th.
